From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.
The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.
I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?
If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)
TwoI know for sure just started their BSN. I checked the hospital’s website the job posting part and it all said BSN or enrolled in a BSN program. But the nurses both were working without a BSN or enrolled in one when they got the job.

I have no idea but I’m hoping someone can add to this discussion. Also I had no idea we are suppose to upload our health insurance? Where are we to upload it. And by where I mean under which tab in castle branch or should we email it. I completely missed that part and I feel lost now.

Whatever health insurance you have now provide proof and upload it to castle branch. If you don’t have any right now you must find some and upload it by your deadline for all your stuff to be in. So like rn I have health insurance from my job so I just made a copy front and back of my card and uploaded it to castle branch. When that changes I have to upload whatever new insurance I find, which I am need help too finding the cheapest insurance if anyone knows of anything! Lol

Oh ok thanks for pointing that out. I will wait until the first orientation to ask a questions regarding the insurance. I’ll go ahead and scan my card and file it just in case I need to upload it.
