Lone Star Spring 2020 ADN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.

The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.

I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?

If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)

Hi ladies,

When I go into Castlebranch is it the Basic or Transition?

Thank you

Which campus are you doing it for? All I had to do was enter a code for the package we needed.

Well all the info is in the package that you got. Just take your time and read through.

Janita is amazing! I had her for pharm and got an A. I have quizlets for each section if you want to study them.

Jodi_riley1985 labelled by chapter.

Does Janita Schaer reviews cover mostly everything on the exams or should I study that plus more? for example CH 6 talks about street drugs but it is not on the review.

Her reviews cover her exams. I didn't come across a single question that wasn't covered BUT some of them are sneaky. Make sure you know side effects and what foods to avoid.

Does anyone know how to read the background check or ssn verification results that we do through castle branch? I got my results just now but idk how to read/understand it lol

What are you having trouble with?

Page 1 Records match = yes with blue stamp with ePass aufans and date

Page 2 the name and ssn number matches the social security admin record

Page 3 Written in red successful/match

page 4 ePass Aufans and date

the remainder is rights and regulations

I take the info on pages 1-3 to mean my social security checked out and I am who I say I am

hope that helps
