From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.
The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.
I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?
If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)

Right! I don’t have a primary care dr yet soo looks like I’m calling and finding one tmrw so I can get started on the bloodwork. Also I found a cpr class for $60.. anyone know of a cheaper one? ?

My primary care does the bloodwork but not in numerical values so I have to find a place that does it that way. I need to start looking for a cpr class. Oh boy this week is gonna be hectic.

And wow I didn't know they could do bloodwork without numerical values. I already scheduled my appt so I should call tomorrow to make sure they do..

Can we not upload our social security and background check forms yet?
Express family clinic in new caney, spring and Conroe/Montgomery does all the immunizations and titers and stuff...even physicals
They are my only hope. I did my hep B with them. Going tomorrow. I hope they do bloodwork for TB because I can’t do the regular skin test because I was vaccinated as a baby against TB I would show positive. Yeah me. Extra bucks to shell out.

Know you’re not directing the question to me but I’m at Kingwood

I’m in Conroe so this lady is closest to me! She doesn’t have classes for September posted yet but I’m going to call when she opens Tuesday to see when those will be. Looks like she does them on weekends too which is nice! 3-4 hours long.
