I just wanted to start a new thread for kingwood/cyfair applicants. This is the moment I have been waiting for for 2 years! I will be turning in my application when I return from vacation next week. My score is at 11.489 as of yesterday! I took the Hesi....again....yesterday and will be going on vacation Mon. I don't think my score has gone in yet either.
Anyway...I'm hoping that my score will be good enough for this time around. What was everyone elses score? I think the cut off the last couple years has been 11.4.
I have created this thread because I know that this site has been extremely helpful for me! And I want to return the favor for whoever else is applying or working towards applying! Also, in order for us to chat or whatever else while we are waiting soooo long for a letter!
If ANYONE has any questions...just ask and I will try the best of my ability to answer it. I know quite a bit about this program, so I'm sure I can help in some way! :heartbeat
I requested Mon/Tues lecture days and clinicals Wed. I faxed my stuff the day after b/c I really really need those days! My hubby works crappy hours (he's a police officer) and has Wed and Thurs off and I really have no one to watch my three year old except daycare...but I hate having him there that long....lecture will not be a prob, but clinicals are early and I will have to be waking up very very early to get there on time...therefore, I would rather have clinicals on a day my hubbys off. Daycare doesn't even open until 6:30 anyway.
I will be going on the 11th for orientation as well.
So I really hope I get those days. I need orientation to hurry and get here!! lol Anyone know about uniforms...what will we be wearing and when would we wear them....like during lecture too...or just clinicals...Can't wait for Wed.
I've been off of here a few days...I'm so proud of myself lol bcuz I was lettin this forum consume too much of my time,,,but I'm going to Nov. 11th orientation too. Good luck to everyone:loveya:
Hi all to potential nurse students. I have just joined allnurses.com and was very happy to come across Lone Star Kingwood 2010 forum. I have been accepted for the Kingwood quest online nursing program. I was wondering if anyone else on here is doing the online program? I also would like to get to know all of you. lol. I am very excited to start nursing school, and I hope we all do well and accomplish our goal eventually to become a nurse in the future. I am also attending the Nov. 11 orientation.

Well, my name is Ashley. I got accepted at Kingwood. My first choice for my schedule is Mon/Tues lecture days and Wed clinicals. I don't know anyone who has been accepted for the online program or even applied for that matter. I wish you luck though. Your a brave woman. lol I am so not a reader....and online classes require a lot of reading. Good Luck!
