It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.
I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).
Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

Going to go on a personal level, and hope to hear some support or advice -
stay at home mom of four here! my husband is getting laid off from a job that was incredibly flexible - and now he's working at a place where he'll have to work lots of overtime which is a good thing, but a bit hard to manage if i'm trying to go to nursing school.
my mom difficulty seeing things - her doc said early signs of glaucoma - so she hasn't been able to come by and help. (she lives about 45 min away from me).
aaaand.. that's all the help i have. i don't know if i should push forward and apply and try to go to nursing school? i had to drop out of a&p2 right now because of the situation. i got 3 kids who go to school, and one who still stays home. no idea what to do... i'm stumped. ?
Just know that everything happens for a reason. I had to give up my seat in the LVN program with Kingwood last year. I was devastated and was thinking about not applying again because I was so mad that I had to give up my spot.
I now see that this all happened for a reason. My son was in a near fatal motorcycle accident in December. I had been at the hospital almost every day, every minute besides coming home to shower and sleep every other day. Towards the end of his time in the hospital I was with him 24/7.
If i had been in the LVN program I would have missed a month of class time. That is unacceptable in any program. So even though I was upset and wasn’t sure why it all happened to me the way it did, GOD had a reason for it all.
So just know that even if you don’t get a spot this go around that there is a REASON why you didn’t. Don’t let it get you down and make you quit, if this is your dream. Good Luck and GOD Bless.

So glad to hear that your son is ok. I commend you for continuing to pursue your goal of becoming a nurse despite the circumstances. You are absolutely right; everything happens for a reason and it will all work out in God's divine timing!

Foreal !!! I wondered the same thing like I’m ready to know already . And that’s not fair because I could’ve applied for spring If it had been 3 months ...

Maybe they aren’t doing it anymore since it’s so competitive and they expect us to have everything correct and in order.
I received a confirmation email; but that was all. I would hope that they will contact us if there is something wrong with our application. The director at the Cyfair campus stated they don't even start looking at applications until after the deadline. So, if there is something wrong, we're not going to have much time to correct the error before they send out acceptances.
