It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.
I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).
Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

I agree!
Going to go on a personal level, and hope to hear some support or advice -
stay at home mom of four here! my husband is getting laid off from a job that was incredibly flexible - and now he's working at a place where he'll have to work lots of overtime which is a good thing, but a bit hard to manage if i'm trying to go to nursing school.
my mom difficulty seeing things - her doc said early signs of glaucoma - so she hasn't been able to come by and help. (she lives about 45 min away from me).
aaaand.. that's all the help i have. i don't know if i should push forward and apply and try to go to nursing school? i had to drop out of a&p2 right now because of the situation. i got 3 kids who go to school, and one who still stays home. no idea what to do... i'm stumped. ?

Mommy of three here! I wanna thank you for sharing your personal situation with us; I’m sure that wasn’t easy. Your situation is a unique one; I’m not sure what I would do either in this situation. I think I would still give it a try considering the circumstances. You’ll never know how things will go if you don’t try. I’m not sure if you’re a person of faith; but if you are, I would pray about it and leave everything in God’s hands ??

Thank you so much.
I'm going to just go ahead and submit my application - perhaps my situation will change by the time the acceptance letters go out.
I am definitely a person of faith ❤️ not going to lie though - sometimes life keeps knocking me down, but I know God is with me. I know He's got something planned for me. Bad part on my end is letting life get the best of me. Just need to learn and grow from all of this.
Thank you for your input and encouraging words ❤️

Absolutely, it was my pleasure! I’m so glad you decided to move forward with the application process and you’re right, your situation could change over the next 6 months. I know life gets tough sometimes but always keep mind that God won’t give us more than we can handle. Good luck to you!

You'll only receive an acceptance from one school. If your score does not get you into the first choice, they'll try your second choice, if you do not get into the second choice, they'll try to place you in your third choice and so on and so on. If you do not get into any of your choices, they'll place you as an alternate or deny you depending on your score.
