Lone Star Fall 2020

Published

It may be early but around this time, those applying to Fall 2020 are engulfed in an A&P course trying for the grades needed. Collaboration and early encouragement can only help. Fall seems to be the large cycle and a lot have had the same instructors. Some of us could even be sitting by each other in class and not know.

I know we cannot say who we are taking. I'm in A&P 1 at Tomball in a hybrid course. If I can be of any help I will do so. I have a study guide for A&P that's about 90 pages. In addition, I have a pdf of one of the books (I think it's Marieb).

Goodxluck in class everyone and hope to see you in nursing school in the Fall!

I’m curious about what schools everyone is applying to? I was at Montgomery and had to withdrawal and now thinking about making North Harris my first choice, but I haven’t heard anything about NH besides they weed people out! ?

Well, I think put your first choice as your first. Last year, they had 4 locations available for fall, Cyfair, Montgomery, North Harris, and Tomball. So rank them based on your choice. I think one them that is available will let you know if they accept you or not.

I uses the pocket prep app. I just paid like $5 and got unlimited questions and would just do that over and over again

So my first choice is Montgomery or Tomball. My overall score is a 7.8 out of 8. I was at CyFair and finished my first semester but then was told I had to sit out because of my TB test. All I know about NH is that ppl say it’s easier than the rest of the schools.

I was planning on applying to both LVN for CyFair and the ADN. I started up a post for whoever is applying to CyFair for the LVN starting on the 26th of this month. I will be applying with a HESI score of 85.20 and I got A’s in my prerequisite classes. Which gives me a total score of 7.408, however I am thinking of retaking the HESI for a higher score.
