I applied! That's a great score, did you also apply to the RN program?

Hi! Yes I applied for the RN program. I made a B in English, which brought my score down. I’m retaking English now just in case if I want to reapply for the RN program that starts in spring. What was your score for the LVN?

Im hoping the first week of June we will know something, but it took theRN progrom a month to find out. So im hoping we can get our acceptance sooner then that. I think you will have a good chance on getting accepted since it's two schools.

I applied to the ADN for the fall start l, but I didn't make it :( LVN I was going to use for a back up. I had a much better score when I applied ( 7.55)

I got an alternate spot for Kingwood today. I had a score of 7.408. Anyone know what the likelihood of getting an actual spot will be? Since we have to spend money on all the tests, I would hate to lose all that money I spend for them if I don’t get a spot.

I think you have a very high chance of getting in. So I think it’s worth spending the money. Congratulations!

Congratulations!! I too got an alternate email on Monday. I'm waiting until orientation on the 27th before I go have any labs done :)

Hello all and congratulations on those who got in. I’m currently an LVN in Dallas and have been looking for a program for awhile that I can work around my daytime work schedule. I read that the program at Kingwood was partial online and skills/clinical weekly with an instructor, however, everything I’ve read on here as far as the schedule seems to indicate that that information is wrong or is a different program than y’all are talking about. Is there anyone who can elaborate on this?

I have never heard of online classes with just skills/clinicals weekly. You would have to call the school nursing department and ask.

Is everyone ready for the Orientation on the 27th? I am so ready to get this started. I have my fingerprinting appointment tomorrow (Friday) for the background check, and then that will be the last of the CastleBranch items. I hope they contact us alternates for spots next week.
