I recieved my acceptance letter today, and will be turning in my letter of intent on Wednesday as well. I can't wait to meet everyone :)

:w00t: Congratulations everyone!!! There are some of us who are being taught to be patient and to be honest with you it kinda sucks not getting a letter yet. I can only imagine how it feels to have already received one.

I received this email last Thursday from Mrs. Anderson at cy fair -

Hello,

You will receive notification by mail concerning your nursing application status at the end of this month. Due to our policy and student confidentiality the nursing department will not inform you of your status over the phone or in person.

I REALLY hope that she is just saying the end of the month so the nursing dept wont get bombarded with phone calls ... Since some already got their acceptance letters, there is hope we will get them soon :) Congrats to everyone and good luck!!

I do not received mail from the US Postal Service until after 4pm. I wish Tomball or Cy-fair or even North Harris would have sent their letters already. My ability to concentrate on my class material is being greatly affected by this waiting for a letter. Does this mean I am weak? My sprit is a little broken. No one is answering the phones when I call to Tomball or Cy-fair and I do not want to call North Harris and get another voicemail box. I am beginning to feel a little down. Why did I put myself through this again? I feel the same as I did last application period when everyone was waiting on letters and a few began to receive theirs. Am I going to be an alternate again and not get in? Sorry guys, just needed to let it out.

mckelley44: you are so lucky. I applied to Cy-fair as my second choice and I have not received an email from her, which to me means that I am not on their list of considered students. Considering your score and mine, if I am not being considered for Tomball then I should have received the same email. I think you at least made an alternate spot and if that is the case do not give up. Many things happen and some students who have been accepted cannot accept the spot for many many reasons. Good luck and be positive. I have not heard from any of the campuses I applied to, but on the other hand I have received my blue card so I am sort of hopeful. Thanks for sharing that bit of news with us. You have made me feel better already )

Hang in there Kaisefer! I wouldn't count yourself out, as only a few have received their letter and many of us remain in the same boat. I completely understand your comment about taking away from your concentration and studying ability, as I do am having this issue. I haven't broken down and called the school yet, but am very close in doing so. I promised myself that I wouldn't call until Monday of next week if I hadn't received a letter. I don't think you are weak, I just think there is so much riding on one stinkin' letter. I mean come on, we live in a technological age...why can't letters be emailed. :banghead:
