I wanted to start this thread for those who are looking to apply at Loma Linda for the new grad RN residency. Hope to connect with each of you soon.

Yes, they do seem very understanding. Unfortunately, I am an out of state resident which means even after the NCLEX, I’ll still have to endorse my license which I’m sure will take months. Good luck on your nursing journey with Loma Linda!

Have you already applied for NCLEX? Because you could have skipped the endorsement process by applying directly to CA for licensure by exam.

Yes, I have applied and already have a date scheduled. I wasn’t able to apply to sit directly for California because of the Microbiology lab requirement. My state did not require micro lab for nursing school and I am currently taking the class and will actually complete it next week. ?

Hi, I was just invited to do the one-question video interview for the October cohort and I was wondering if anyone that already went through the process would be able to share what type of question they asked. Thank you!

It was simple (I.e. tell us about yourself, why Loma Linda). You have ~2 mins to prepare once you’re shown the question,  and about 5 mins to answer. Good luck! ?

Hey just wondering if anyone had heard anything from someone about an in person interview I’ve heard a few people have already received an email.

I got mines yesterday but I have other friends in different department who got there's weeks earlier

Hi! I am applying to the Winter 2023 cohort and was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what the initial interview question was? I heard it was "tell me about yourself and why loma linda?"
