Hi all,
I wanted to start this thread for those who are looking to apply at Loma Linda for the new grad RN residency. Hope to connect with each of you soon.

Hi! I am applying for the next cycle and received the same initial interview. Was the question just "tell me about yourself" ?

I applied for ER and they seemed to have messed up the process because I was asked to interview/got an offer for their surgical unit. They also seemed a little disorganized, and they even gave me incorrect contact info so... IDK some red flags here and there on top of a possible 3 year contract wasn't the best.
Hello Allison I just got an opportunity to do the screening interview and I was wondering if you have any tips for me ?? It would be greatly appreciated

I had a panel interview a couple of years ago. It wasn't bad at all. They did most of the talking by introducing their role. They know you're a new grad and don't have much experience. You'll do great! If I remember correctly, you may be required to float to peds occasionally. Good luck!

That's good to know! Do you remember what type of questions they asked? I have no OR experience so I am nervous as to what they will ask. I would love to go to PEDS as well if that is an option. Thank you so much for the insight.

I had no experience as well and still got selected for a spot. I didn't end up taking it because my CA license was not going to be ready in time. They seemed really nice though! I'm actually thinking of applying for an OR position with them. I believe there was a 3 year commitment which starts after periop101 (OR training which is about 6 months.) I don't remember what they asked though! Sorry!

That's awesome! I would love the opportunity. One of my best friends is an PACU nurse and she loves it. I am open to all aspects of the OR. I hope I am lucky enough to get it! Thank you so much and good luck to you as well!
