I believe that we should ppl in the community involved because they are the ones that stop lich from closing andcommunity involvement has been effective

I think we should make a post on one of the MAIN pages of allnurses.com (so that potential signers can see)...granted allnurses.com allows us to do so...then we can possibly meet up @ diffrent times at the school to get it signed...

I'm just using an example...I don't know exactly HOW we can get this done but this issue has to reach the masses. Can we post about it on thier FB page? or is it going too far?

We need to somehow grab the attention of ALL the applicants of LICHSON Fall 2011...

Side Bar: Not for nothing, where are ALL the other posters that was on this thread posting during the earlier weeks/during the anticipating wait, when we didn't KNOW what we know now!!! We need everyone's fight...#I'mjustsaying

I have been reading this and following it for a while too and just decided to add my response. I am more than frustrated and disappointed with all this mess. LICH was my only choice and now i dont know what to do!!!! This can not be professional. They cant do this to us... so count me in #6

Dakina05 thank you for deciding to join our fight against the common cause and welcome to our thread. We all appreciate that you decided to sign our petition and fight.

MrsCombozcurlz, i personally do not know how to put our post on the main page of allnurses.com and if anybody does know how to do it than by all means do it. it would defenitly help a lot. Furthermore, please do not post it on facebook. LICH's dean follows FB very closly, your entire personal information is seen which makes it easy to trace, we dont want that kind of attention just yet and defenitly dont want to give LICH heads up on what we are planning and give them time to counter our fight. Moreover, thank you for agreeing to sign our petition.

CeceStar5, getting the community involved is a super idea. The only problem is how to actually pull it of. How do you get the community involved? Pls post your ideas i will defenitily help in any way I can.

The site "Cobble Hill Patch" was following the merger with posts and comments from the neighbors -- maybe a good place to start -- let them know the nursing program was not saved and is closing!

u can count me in- #7. althought i dont know how much this will help....it will never get us into the school...i am now going on an interview to st pauls next wednesday because i just cant take anymore of this. im not letting them waste any more of my time. so bottom line is i will sign the petition but they will not get anymore of my blood, sweat, and tears.
