i wanted to start a thread for applicants for 2011 lichson, ill like to hear your process and just be there for all and go through the wait together. :clown: i know that hard parts are over with just the gruesome part is here WAITING! hope there some ppl out there going through the same thing as i

hi all,

i see a lot of people are confused so i thought to put some clear perspective on things. They ARE still making calls so for those who are still waiting just try to relax and think positive. Furthermore, the school is very busy with graduation and merge going on right now but they are still doing the best they can to call people for interviews. Moreover, the school IS sending out letters of acceptance to all applicants that they are considering the best and the only time they will call you if they see that it will take a long time for you to get a letter of acceptance( because of graduation and merger) than they will personally contact you and tell you the good news and than you will receive an official letter in mail. Hope this information will help a lot of people who are felling very anxious.

P.S. i am writing very quickly because i am in a rush. So I am sorry in advance for all the grammatical errors and run on sentences in this paragraph.

thanks for the post odessaboy....but just curious as to why i was told i would have an answer within 2 weeks of my interview?

What are some of the prereqs for this program? I've tried looking them up online but they are in the process of upgrading their website. I currently go to CUNY Hostos but I can't apply to their RN program since I didnt pass a few prereqs. I would like to apply for fall of next year.

Well...................yesterday officiallly made 2weeks since my interview. To be honest I didn't expect to hear from the school on "said" day but......I know their busy (graduation) etc...just patiently waiting that's all. Sooooooooo how are u ladies doing/feeling? It been crickets on this thread lately...hope everyones staying positive, I pray to get great news for us ALL....and very soon!!!

i didnt really expect to hear from them on the 2 weeks either....but def didnt think it would be 6 weeks at allllll which is extremely frustrating...i would really love to get into this school but the fact that i applied over 3 months ago and i still dont know if im in esp that the school starts in aug freaks me out big time....theres so many things that need to be done like applying for financial aid, etc....i hope everyones hanging in there!

Wow Stina78...did u have an interview? I ask bcause u only stated u applied 3 months ago...I already filed for FA with all the schools I applied to... since March...I suggest u do so just in case...it won't hurt too. Like I said b4...my girlfriend works @ LICH and attends LICHSON's Day program....she told me they didn't let her know of her final acceptance till JULY!!! I sooo hope that that was a case of circumstance and doesn't happen often!

yea i had my interview 3 weeks ago...i guess it wont hurt to apply for FA now...i hope i get FA i already have a bachelors degree and im not sure if they award anyone with FA if you already have a degree....

I agree with you guys. This is frustrating. Their graduation is today so hopefuly by Monday they should be getting things going..

Well u can either call FA OR file for it...they'll let u know quickly after applying if ur approved for it or not. I have an AAS degree already in another major...as far as obtaining aid w/ a Bachelors ...emmm not sure! Call for info...

I had my interview over 3 wks ago as well. I already have a bachelors degree and I know for a fact. That if you have a bachelors degree. You are only eligible for federal loans. I did my fafsa and put st francis and lich as my possible school. So they already have my financial aid info. Hope this helps

FAFSA deadline

for 2010-2011 is June 30, 2011

for 2011-2012 midnight of June 30, 2012 (online applications).

I guess I have to follow CeceStar5 example and apply now...:)

P.S. I had my interview 2 weeks and 4 days ago... as I remember i

was told that will be contacted in 2-3 weeks...still waiting.............
