fyi, i just got a verbal acceptance. they said there are some delays due to the recent merger but it seems they're working through it all & starting to make calls.

Did LICHSON tell you this. I believe that the SUNY Downstate merger has nothing to do with them. Or I might be wrong. I work at LICH and I was told by a professor in the school that the merger has nothing to do with them. Maybe they have to get permission from SUNY Downstate to allow St. Francis students/ LICHSON students to do clinicals. Im gonna investigate this. :uhoh3:

not really sure of any more details beyond that. just sounded like the standard "we're really busy lately" response i've been getting from all the schools i've applied to. hopefully everyone will hear soon because we all have arrangements to make for the fall i'm sure.

i called yesterday since my interview was 2 weeks ago today and i was told that they are sending out acceptance letters through mail not by phone....and she told me that they entry packets will be going out by the end of june...im getting a little frustrated w this school!

i had my interview last week wed and they said they would call with a decision...and they told u they are doing it by mail...im confused lol

I'm confused too. I guess no one knows until we recieve letters in the mail

yea....this is all confusing...but when i had my interview 2 weeks ago all i rem her saying is that i would find out in abt 2 weeks...i dont know if i rem her using the word "call" at all...but my friend who also had an interview was told that she would be called. i called the school yesterday and they told me that letters/entry packets would be mailed out by the end of june. i didnt think it was legal to give verbal acceptances but i guess they are lol

Do u guyz remember on the application the question was asked "how you prefer to be contacted"? Via e-mail, phone or mail? I guess whatever u submitted, that's the mode of contact they will use...not sure.

hmm i dont rem that...but im not sure they still may be doing interviews cus if u call them before 9am theres a automated message that says they are doing interviews/responses til the end of june...i cant take this waiting anymore its getting ridiculous..its been almost 3 months since i applied!
