I received mine with more than one. Don't worry I did get a certificate of relief. I also know nurses who had a felony and received their license.
People do get a second chance but a license does not mean you'll get a job it just makes it harder
Thank you for your response... I have obtained a certificate of relief as well.. Ana I have 2 jobs lined up already .. Just need to get the actual license .. If u don't mind me asking .. How long did your process take!!
No long at all I'm in New York finished nursing school. Had nclex 3 weeks after school found out I passed 48hrs later and it took the board a total of 7 business days posted right online. You'll be fine and good luck to you!!!
Oh wow... I tested on July 22nd.. And was told it went for further review... But supervisor won't be back til the 17 of August
It's just going in front of a board here look at this http://www.reentry.net/ny/library/attachment.84561
Not sure if it's your Lpn or rn but it doesn't matter.
This person had many many misdemeanors overs years and was still given a license. Also you can submit letters of good moral recommendation but have them notierized
Thank you... I've gotten feedback from different sources and have been told I shouldn't worry too much ... People have committed more serious crimes and even more recent and still have been licensed... I was just wondering if anyone went through the process and how long this further investigation process will take
Well my understanding is once it's up for review worst case is 6 months
Oh wow.... Definitely very disappointing considering before I entered the program I called NYS BON for feedback regarding my situation... Thank you for your response
Hey think of it like this you survived nursing school you passed the nclex and now you only have a small speed bump to wait for you should be very happy!!!!!!' Congrats and your license will post up soon
