Dear Angry Parent,
If you knew your neighbors' kids had head lice, why were you not checking your own child at home? Why are you angry at me for discovering your child not only has the nits, but also has the full-grown lice? She has been infected for weeks by this point -- if you are so determined to keep her in school, why are you not checking at home?
Stop yelling at me because your child has lice from "those kids." For all I know, they got it from her.
Sincerely,
A Nurse Who Hasn't Had Enough Coffee to Deal With You

So, your child is too sick to put in a full day of school, and work must be modified, due to fatigue but its OK if they are out for HOURS on end paying street hoop? REALLY?????
Thanks!

Amen sister!!! BTW, did you know I have a special jar of lice I keep in my office to put on unsuspecting children?.....Worse yet, one time I called a Mom regarding ringworm on her daughter's face. She said "I don't allow them in my house" repeatedly. Then she called the AP and told her that I was never to call her again for anything - all calls should be made from her (the AP). Oh, and I was being rude and I insulted her because I accused her of having a dirty house............. She doesn't allow them in, you see.....
Of course, the AP had to do what she wanted..............SO glad said child is now in middle school.......Good luck with that nonsense there!!

Dear Parent,
If your daughter was exposed to lice at a sleepover 3 weeks before school even started AND you have already contacted the parent of the "alleged source" why are you even bothering me? And no, I will not check the alleged source's head and call you back with details just as you would not like me to share confidential info about your little darling.
P.S. All of the girls involved, including the "alleged source" have not a nit one. Though, i hope your little darling is feeling just great about being caught cyber bullying the poor "alleged source." Hmmmmm, seems your precious was the only real louse involved!

So True!
Mine would be,
For the 3rd year in a row, if your asthmatic child needs an inhaler at school, you must get a doctor to fill out a medication request form for school. Also, it might be helpful if you sent a new full inhaler to start the year off with, instead of an old empty one that expired the end of August, followed by a nearly full one that expired last year!
If you don't want to hear me on the other end of the phone, waking you from your slumber at 10am for the 4th day in a row telling you that your son is having an asthma attack and low O2 sat, then PLEASE take your child to the doctor on the first day I called you and recommended you seek treatment.
I am angry about it too! I have a 1000 other students besides your son to care for. It would be great if you could help me out and take care of your ONE child.
And P.S. his teacher has asthma too, so the whole accusation that there must be a smelly candle setting off his asthma is bogus. And my thought is if you really cared, you could have mentioned your concern about it during one of our 15 phone conversations this year.

Love this! Mine would read:
You are never going to get rid of the lice if you don't treat your lice infested home! Scrub your house, vacuum everything, put the stuffed animals in bags or better yet..the dryer, launder everything that can possibly be laundered, buy some lice killing spray! Declare war on them and get rid of them. I know it would interfere with sleeping in until noon but if you get rid of them I won't call you for a lice filled head!
Same goes for fleas! Your child is covered in flea bites which means you have a flea problem. Let off a bomb and get rid of the problem Oh yeah, and throw the flea infested dog, cat, ferret, what-have-you outside! C'mon people!!
Wow that felt good to type! Thanks for the opportunity to vent! :)
