hi everyone! i'm holli. i took boards on june 13th and passed with 75 questions. i am starting work on july 18th at the only hospital i ever wanted to work for. it is a great pediatric facility! i will be on the (post-op) surgical floor, and we also have all of the endocrine kids. also, they just added an epilepsy monitoring unit, for overnight monitoring and for the brain mapping they are doing. i expressed an interest in that, so they will cross-train me in that unit as well. i can't wait to get started!

so, tell me about you...

hello, i took my nclex on june 25th, and i am starting my work orientation tomorrow. i am a nervous wreck and don't no if i'll be adequate for the profession, esp what my co-workers will think of me. i'll be working at the tele unit, and i have worked there for two semesters of nursing school, still i am soooooooooo panicky. i am really hoping, i won't let my instructors and managers down. i just feel like crying because i feel like there's so much i still don't know .

just think of what needs to be done first for a pt and you will be fine!

i am a new baby-rn as of one day...i took my nclex on monday. i will be starting new grad orientation next week and working on the surgical floor where i completed part of my nurse externship. ive worked in various areas as a cna (neuro, micu, home health, and general med floors) but i am still a bit nervous about moving up the ladder even though i know i can do it. i know i am going to hit up the forum for lots of advice because i am one for recieving and giving advice....cant wait to start next week...hasnt really sunk in yet that i am finally a nurse...but hey a dream come true.

Hi Everyone, I'm Kim from Northeast PA and I will be finally starting my LPN course in 9/09 - long way off but I can finally, at 46, go to school for a career I've wanted for so long.
