And I am not the least bit frightened.
I can do ALL my labs in less than 5 minutes from start to finish, and I have the AOC down pat.
I am ready for this, and I am ready for it to be over. I want to amaze them with my efficiency and speed. LOL.
Here's to the CPNE and being a GN two weeks from now.

Your confidence is refreshing. How long have you been studying and, what study methods and schedule have you been using.
I am working part-time about 25 hours a week. And with three kids (4 including my hush and), managing eveyone elses schedule, and trying to maintain a household I can never seem to find more that an hour or two to study. I am sceduled for December 3rd, and I am starting to wonder if that's enough time.

That is the confidence you need going into this test. If you have don't have your AOC down and can't perform your labs in seven minutes are less take more time to perfect. This is a costly exam and worth the extra time to study.
I have been studying since August 20th when I got my date.
I have a gal pal that I have been Skyping with and going through the labs with.
The biggest thing that I have done has been to record the check off sheets onto my iphone and listen to them over and over and over again.
That way it is cementing itself into my brain and I know exactly what they are looking for.
I do head to toe assessments every day, so I get a little bit of that in at work. :)
My actual hands on time in my upstairs lab is limited, so I listen to my iPhone recordings as often as I can. That seems to be working!
I also have used Robs CPNE study guides as well. He simplifies everything, and gives you a lot of pointers. I have watched his DVD's a few times and have studied his eBook thoroughly.

When you refer to Rob's CPNE study guide are you talking about his ebooks for the videos or something else?
And, also did you record your own voice into your iPhone verbatim, from the check-off sheets?
One more thing have you completely read EC's CPNE guide yet?
Thanks.
I have both the DVDs and the study guide from Rob.
I read verbatim off of the checklists into my voice recorder on my IPhone. I have also read my mnemonics as well and have listened to those as well.
I paid $39 and had the study guide printed off and read it fromcover to cover. A lost of useless info in there IMHO. I have mainly just used the checkoff sheets and read through individual sections when I needed clarification on something.
