Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

I emailed the professor she said she will find out why it's unavailable and will correct it as soon as possible.

Omg, I emailed her as well. I hope she will not be bothered by the amount of emails she will be getting.

She seems very kind and responded pretty quickly. I do not think she will be bothered. I am having trouble with the VoiceThread. I hope it posted in the right spot. But I asked to let me know.

I had an issue with the VT as well. What I did was: first uploaded the picture; next, record the memo; then, I downloaded the memo; finally, I selected a slide where I wanted to upload my voice memo. I did so by clicking the "+" at the bottom of that slide and uploaded the voice memo I previously recorded. I hope this helps.

I look through the slides; I think mine is on the first one. Can you let me know if you heard it? I think I heard yours then. It was the second slide and a female on the second to the last slide I believe.

Hi Amberrae, I would like to wear compression socks as well. Any suggestions of brands to look up? Thank you.

Hello! Personally, I've only tried Nursemate's compression socks. I bought 1 and 2 during a sale last month. I like 1 a lot better than 2. The toe stitching didn't bother my toes, it has a higher level of compression, and it feels like a higher quality sock.

There are also a ton of great options on amazon too.

So I was only able to register for two classes (not all) and I just got a call from Lehman saying that I have to pay by August 22nd otherwise they will drop me. I have never even gotten a response from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) about registration but they are calling me about paying for 2 classes before classes even start...Are they hounding anyone else for money?

Go to financial aid office and have them put the classes on hold until everything gets corrected. Are you receiving financial aid? If not then go ahead and start the loan process. That will also put your classes on hold. You can always cancel the loan after you put the application in since it takes awhile for it to be put in the system.

Does anyone else have PDF's. For NUR 301 we need Guide to Nursing 4th ed, Physical examination and health assessment 6th ed, and nursing drug guide?

Thanks. I was emailed some pdf's but some of the books on the syallbus wasn't the pdf's. So I was just wondering if anyone else had this specific ones I asked.
