Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

Did you hand in all of your health forms? I'd say speak to someone in the nursing department and tell them what's going on; you should've received an email by now

Yeah I handed everything in the last week of June and I called the office today, the secretary told me not worry about it because they dealing with clinical placements right now. But I see that everyone else has registered already so I am actually worried about it

I understand how you are feeling right now, it is not easy. But I think you should not worry about classes, to be honest. You have a seat, so you will have a spot in each of the classes you are supposed to take this fall. If anything, contact (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) next week when she returns.

I only received a confirmation email.

I'll be wearing thin compression socks. My feet were flopping out of a 7. The 6.5 fits my larger foot perfectly (with some space) with my socks on and is still a teeny bit loose on my smaller foot. But it's up to BKQ1320. Maybe they can try their size and if they think it's too huge, they can always exchange it for a smaller size or wear some super thick socks.

Hi Amberrae, I would like to wear compression socks as well. Any suggestions of brands to look up? Thank you.

I havent recieved my email for my clinical so theres that. I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) but i guess I'll have to wait until she gets back just like the rest. It's more her problem than ours in all honesty or am I wrong for saying that? This whole situation of her leaving for vacation while we need to get our classes and clinical documents is laughable lol

Hey guys I still haven't received an email with my registration codes or anything, I haven't gotten an email since orientation honestly. I've been able to register for Nur 300 but that's it. When I tired to register for my clinical for my group it says that the lecture is closed but the clinical isn't so I'm so confused. I also can't register for Nur 344

Did you try adding all the courses into your cart and then finish enrolling? That's what I had to do in my case. And then when I received the email it was the same classes that I had place in the cart and was approved. The only class was 344 that she supposedly approve but was allowing me permission. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and it took a little while. But it was fixed. Trying adding all the nur 344 and 301 no matter the day. Just add them and then finish enrollment button and see what goes through. But regardless of the fact you definitely have a seat. So there are no worries. And there will not be any indies of over filled classes. If you need help just email me [email protected]. Good luck.

You can do what I suggested in my last past to Jay. It is laughable with what happened. Though it's frustrating and I understand she is entitled for a vacation, it was done the wrong way. She was very unorganized and unprofessional. If she couldn't have finished then she should've given instructions to those in the office to assist to keep the process moving. But hey what can I say. Not everyone can have common sense or a form of sympathy towards others, it's all about them.
