Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
I took the HESI on Thursday. Here are my scores:OVERALL: 87.33%
READING:82%
ANATOMY:84%
MATH:96%
CT:840
My science GPA is 3.88 and cumulative is 3.56. Do you think I have a good chance of getting into the generic program?
I think your scores look good enough for you to be a competitive candidate. Have faith!

Your scores are great! Congrats on passing! Based on previous years, your chance of getting in is pretty high. Are you done with your pre-reqs or are you finishing up the ones you have left?
I am trying to weigh in pros and cons for both ABSN and Generic. I do want to finish fast, but at the same time I do want to understand the material as much as possible. Moreover, with the generic, there is an opportunity to do summer externships.
What are summer externships? And I just feel the accelerated would be too intense; it's always nice to have a small break in between semesters, which is something we won't have in ABSN.

Summer externships are 9-10 week internships at various hospitals under the supervision of a nurse. It is a great learning opportunity! And it is paid!
