Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Published

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

Do you think That's accelerated and generic combined?

Do you think That's accelerated and generic combined?

It's separate. Accelerate is 30 to 35. And generic I believe is between 100 to 120 (maybe 130) depending on how many seats.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted!

Hi guys I'm joining in a little late. I just want to congratulate everyone who got accepted. I wonder if they will send emails everyday or if they have a specific day of the week to send them out. The waiting is agonizing ughhh

What we're your stats if you don't mind me asking? I'm still waiting too and it's nerve wracking

My stats are horrible. I took A&P 5 years ago when my dad passed so I got B's then I got

Chem B+

Lab A

Orgo A-

Lab A

Micro A

Hesi:

CT: 940

Math: 92

AP: 92

RC: 86

But my gpa still amounted to 3.48 and my cumulative is 3.7 the only reason I'm keepin my hopes alive is because when I went to the department they told me they saved a few seats for lower gpa so here I am.

I was accepted to the college of New Rochelle but really wished to attend Lehman. That's where I finished my pre recs by the way.

I would apply to College of New Rochelle but I wouldn't know how I'd pay for their tuition. But I've heard from others from this thread that that school is their back up if Lehman doesn't work out

They have good scholarships and help out with financial aid. I never took a loan in my life so I'm comsidering that as well. At this point I just want to start nursing school.

In 2016 they took people with 3.47 so I'm hopeful but I'm also realizing this year is very competitive.

Maybe a miracle will happen hahaha and I get in :)

But even if I don't get in I seriously love coming here and celebrating those that got in. I can feel their happiness. This process of applying to nursing school is so stressful even if I don't make it I'm hoping everybody here gets in and get to feel the happiness of reading that acceptance letter.

Those who got accepted, how did you deliver the intent letter: by email, fax or in person? I emailed it to the designated person but thinking if I should also deliver in person... I just wish I got some sort of acknowledgement email that they got my intent letter.

When I went in yesterday to ask questions, two ppl went in person to hand it in person to person. I would recommend it that way. And the package after will be emailed to you.

I emailed it and shortly after I was sent the orientation packet
