Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
I know a couple of my friends got in the generic program, but they had finished their prerequisites prior to Spring 2018 and they have high GPA's probably 3.9-4.0. Next wave of acceptance letters should be going out hopefully by middle of next week or following week.
I guess my theory was somewhat correct. My GPA is in this range, my hesi score is pretty high, and my CT score is over 800 but this makes me a little nervous. I really feel like competition is tough this year.
WTF are they email applicants alphabetically or something?
I have a 4.0 prereq GPA, 920 Critical Thinking and an 88 overall on the HESI.
I expected to get accepted with the first round. Now I am afraid that there was something wrong with my transcripts from my first degree or I did something incorrectly on the application. My last name begins with one of the last letters on the alphabet so maybe that's it?
What the actual f*ck?!
This seems like the earliest they've sent out acceptances. I'll wait another two weeks before calling.
& @OMGSOCKS, If you don't get in I suggest that you challenge it. A few years ago a guy with a 4.0 didn't get into the accelerated program due to the nursing office's mistake. & Maybe it is by alphabetical order. We'll see.

So far only two people from this thread have been accepted. One to the generic program and the other to the accelerated program. Hopefully the rest of us will hear something next week.
