Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

That does makes sense. And it seems they are doing generic first (those that chose generic only.)

At least from previous posts we can probably expect a few waves of letters being sent out.

My first choice was accelerated. I actually sent an email asking if accelerated was full already or if they could give me some insight as to why I didn't get into the accelerated program.

I also chose accelerated as first option, but hope that they consider me for generic if not for accelerated.

I finished my pre req last year and still haven't received anything. It's making me nervous, and I also put generic. I'm confused

Did you get a 800+ on critical thinking and a 75+ in every section on your Hesi?

Two students who applied in 2016 but didn't get in received acceptance emails around the same time last year as everyone else. You may be in that batch.

Hey! So I received a reply. There was a mix-up with mine and I'm actually in the accelerated program. I was told that as soon as I send in my confirmation of attendance, that I will receive my orientation packet.

So I got a

82 on the reading

76 on a&p

88 on math

850 on critical thinking

Gpa: 3.6

Generic program I believe

I just assumed they were accepting people who finished their pre-reqs before Spring 2018 in general. But I guess they're accepting people for both.

As for you, you meet the minimum requirements (and the true recommended GPA 3.5+) so I wouldn't worry too much yet.
