Lehman College Fall 2020 Admissions

Published

Hi!

This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!

Can anyone recommend any good study materials for the HESI?

Hello bknursing,

The Elsevier HESI A2 review guide is really good. Elsevier is the company that creates the content of the test, so their study materials are the most closely aligned with the content of the exam. You won't need the book after you take the test, so you'll need to decide if you want to rent it or buy it new or used. Definitely work on dimensional analysis and study the A&P content in the study guide. Good luck!

Anyone here doing RN TO BSN at Lehman? ?

Okay, awesome! I'm taking my section online. I wish I could register for something else too, I am eager to be accepted and get my feet wet. I just want to be accepted already lol!

HI, I am considering taking HIN269 (online) in the summer section. May I know how are you doing with online hin269, who is your professor? I already submitted my application for Generic with GPA 3.81, Hesi overall 860 with CT 930. I did not register HiN 269 yet because I did not have confidence with the professor that the department gave me. I have a full-time job. so, I would like to know how it is tough to take it with a short section on online.

thanks

Hi I wanted to post my scores since I just took the Hesi.

science GPA: 3.77

Hesi: 97.33%

CT: 1000

Do I have a good chance for the generic program?

Hi, Julia

You will get into the generic program. My two friends have much lower than your scores (3.6) they got in a genetic program but not an Accelerated program.

I summitted it the last month and the adviser told me I will be fine.

mine is GPA 3.81 and Hesi 86 overall with CT930.

my name is kil young. I hope we can help each other in the program.

My friend told me they can advise me on how to study. however, they seem crazy busy. not to bother them.

thx cross fingers

Hi kil park,

I want to answer honestly and diplomatically. I would not recommend taking HIN 269 online with CG if you are the type of student that expects the syllabus to contain accurate information. As for the difficulty degree of this course with this particular instructor I have not been graded on any assignments and so I can not offer any more information. Look up Rate My Prof. and see if you can find an instructor with good ratings. My friend took HIN 269 in a standard face-to-face class and loved her Prof., but I dont remember her name... sorry ? .

Thanks, the department gave me CG professor, I asked the dept adviser to give me another professor. the adviser was upset and told me " do you want to have an easy professor?" AND she did not give me another permit even though . there was ( City tech pro). Who does not an easy professor? I had to concern about my situation who has a full-time job. So, I decided to take it in summer short.

Thx for the response and good luck with accelerated program

Hi Kil, thanks so much, you’ve made me less anxious than I already am lol. Your scores look excellent! You’re advisor was right, you have nothing to worry about. Of course, we students need to stick together in order to succeed.?

A and p is easy I think you do not have to study. I will send you that I remember. I took 2 times and both A and B were very similar. But wait. I have to look for
