your welcome! Yes it would still be 15 months, but I guess you would finish about 3 months later than usual. I think you would've finished during fall semester of 2021 but because you will start late, you will probably finish in January of 2022. Hope I explained that right lml

Your welcome! yes acceptances come out from today until the 15th. There is a possibility that extra spots will be given after the 15th incase some people decline their acceptance. So if you get a letter after the 15th that's why. That's all that I know right now. Your welcome!

I just wanted to say that I know how stressful this can be and given all that's on the news just adds to the anxiety, but take this time to relax and self reflect on your goals. Make a backup plan just to assure yourself that you'll always have a direction to work towards. Look into potential other majors that you may even find suits you a long with Nursing as I will start to be doing just in case. Breathe in, breathe out and be thankful for all the positives in this current point of your life❤️

Hi Rasaan I just got off of a call with an Advisor and she said that the accelerated program starts in August along with the generic. To everyone that has been wondering what's going on like me. They started filtering acceptances last week and they will be emailing them from now until the 15th of June. They are allowing 50 students into the accelerated this year so I can expect them to accept over 100 in to generic as well. They may even start emailing today so check your emails. Best of Luck!

I got some of my final grades today and I realized that my science GPA is dropping from 3.77 to 3.71. Do you think I‘m still in good standing? My HESI was 97% and my CT was 1000

Yeah you're right, just checked. Kind of odd, but maybe they set it that way in case some students have to repeat the class ??‍♀️. Or better yet, maybe since there's a chance everything will be online, they'll accept more people? That last part might be a bit of a reach, but I can't come up with a better reason?

I'm not sure since my friend was the one that scheduled it, but I believe an email was sent on how to set up a zoom meeting. Yeah same, the lack of information on something so important is unprofessional on their part because many people are confused. Yeah same here, but everything will be cleared up soon I bet. Yeah I would suggest making a zoom meeting with your pre-nursing advisor, if you still feel conflicted.

You're welcome. Yeah me neither. Yeah, Donna addressed that as well and said that they haven't been giving people permission for 269 and 268, but she never said why, which I think is odd. You'll most likely get a response soon enough though. As far as your back up, in my opinion, I would only suggest finding another major if you don't feel confident in getting in. Just because things are delayed, doesn't mean that they won't happen, so don't let this panic you. However, if you definitely need a backup, you can still declare your major for nursing and then also declare a minor. Because if for whatever reason you don't get in the program, you can work on your minor while you start the application process again for this school or another. I think a backup major is unnecessary unless you feel it is in your best interest to have one and it probably would affect the decision of your application.

Hi, FutureRN2022_ a! My friend and I just got off of a zoom call with Donna the Pre-Nursing advisor and she told us that they may not start the acceptance process until June because many people scheduled to take the HESI during Quarantine and given the situation, they have to reschedule and prolong their application process. So they want to give those people extra time to take their exams. For course registration, we don't choose our own courses in the program, it is done automatically once accepted. In regards to sending acceptances, we most likely won't hear if we got in until mid-June to end of July ? There's also a likely hood that we will have orientation online as well. She also said that some of our classes are in-person and online since they don't know if we will be back in school full-time for fall yet. I just don't get why this information hasn't been put in an email and blasted out to us. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed.
