I used mostly Saunders and the question bank that came with the Saunders book.. really focusinh on the rationales. The foundations questions and sections in the book really helpped to review!! For patho I focused on the content area per system on the online question bank... same for psych...hope it helps.. good luck!!

Can anyone who got into the generic program previously tell me how many times a week are clinicals and how long are they?
Hi-
First fall semester you'll have fundamentals: your clinical is once a week and it alternates between going to the hospital and simulation lab. (clinical is 12hrs [7am-7pm] sims is only 9am-5pm)
First Spring semester: you'll have medsrug and psych clinical - med surg clinical is same as funds (alternates between clinical and sims labs), then psych start sometimes in march as its about 8 consecutive weeks (time is about 8am-3pm)
Second fall semester: you'll have Peds/maternity. This clinical is every week; ~7weeks of Peds and ~7weeks of maternity
last semester (Spring): You'll have Medsurg 2 clinical, that's every week.
Hope it helps. And all your clinical is from the beginning to the end of the semester

I tried to answer U World questions during the program ....but honestly I just didn’t have time( and I was in the generic program). If I wasn’t reading /taking notes from one of the many chapters that was assigned then I was either watching registered nurse RN, simple nursing or Lecturio to complete my understanding.
