Hi!
This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!
I feel the same way! I'm taking the course online as well. I wanted to take it during the winter session, but it was full by the time I sought permission from the department.
While I wait for the admission decision, I'm volunteering at Einstein and looking for places to get certified in CPR. If you have time and are interested in volunteering in a hospital setting, Montefiore has a great volunteer outreach coordinator! Also, check out the career center at Lehman and speak to Navisha!
Hi Julia,
Your stats are amazing! From what I can gather, Lehman ranks students by GPA so that someone with a 3.5 would get accepted before someone with a 3.4. With your high GPA and your excellent HESI and CT scores, you should be golden for the generic program! Don't quote me though...I am only going by what former students wrote in previous threads on this website! lol!

thank you and lol yeah I get it? There’s actually a pdf on the lehman website that shows you the exact statistics of how many students got accepted and what their gpa was in the previous cohorts. In 2018, the lowest was a 3.4 and 110 people got accepted I believe. So I think a lot of people have good chances
Hey Julia,
I agree with Rasaan Ogilive. Your stats will undoubtedly rank you as a highly competitive candidate for the generic program...... one question regarding that PDF you referred to with the previous statistics of accepted nursing students. Where can I find that, do you remember? I hope we are all happy come September!

Couldn’t find the link, but I remember that a month ago My nerdy self took a picture of it off of my computer. So I hope you can see this picture well. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is all that’s in the pdf so if you do find it, it’s the same as what’s on here.
