Just took the HESI and am hoping things work out well. Applied last week to the General program(2020 Fall)

Taking APII, Micro, O-Chem, HIN 268 all right now and so far doing 85-93 ish in each class but this corona craze is cramping our semester style. Still braved it to do that test though. #Priorities

GPA: 3.93

HESI Composite: 95.33%

CT: 980

If you haven't already taken the HESI I highly recommend googling HESI Quizlet. It was absolutely the most helpful thing I did in preparing for this exam. Oh and get used to adding/multiplying fractions by hand.

Hi, just wondering , how do you do Labs for the classes. I can not imagine the labs going on on line classes! Especially micro, I had to identify the unknown micro bacteria using microscope. Good luck with classes under the crazy circumstances. Hope nursing department still open to collect all candidates. I already finished pre nursing but I am taking Japanese class e permit at hunter.

I hope the coronavirus settles down before the Summer so that we can all meet face to face and have classes in person rather than online!

your scores is similar with me, GPA 3.81, HESI 86 and ct 940. Few weeks ago, I thought I will be fine. But right now I m not sure. It all depends on the applicant. Now many stdents are getting good scores with HESI, they found some resources LOL.

In addition to , prenusing is now from on campus to online. In my experience, online classes was much easier and generous.

SO No BODY can not assume

But nursing adviser fewthings . She asked me science GPA , and HESI and Micro and chemi Grades. And she sais I will be OK

I am starting worry now ( Generic)

Has anyone here corresponded with Nursing administration recently? Or have any news at all regarding the review of applications and admissions process proceedings this year? It seems like an anticipated start date of June for the accelerated program is unlikely to happen.

Hello AspiringNP88,

I have been thinking the same thing. I am hoping that they are considering how to move the program to a hybrid mixture of online platforms and staggered times for lab sessions to avoid large groups. The college itself needed to transition to virtual learning pretty quickly. I hope the nursing program is able to make the same transition! I 'll give them a call today.
