Legacy RN Versant Residency 2015 Winter

U.S.A. Oregon

Legacy RN Versant Nurse Residency Program, start date February 23, 2015. I just wanted to post this thread, so that those of us who applied for this cohort can communicate about the application process. Did you apply? If so, which unit and location? Have you heard anything yet? Any idea how many applicants applied this time? I hope everyone gets their unit of choice. This is a very tough program, but seems worth the effort. I want to wish everyone the best of luck!

LoliLolly, the same thing happened to me! :-( I applied for the Women's Health at Salmon Creek. I thought it was in the bag, and then I got the rejection email and was crushed last time! However, I'm excited to apply this round. I just got back from my face to face interview, & I think it went really well! We will see.

I completely understand your desire to not have to fly. Last cohort I flew and still didn't get the job anyway. LTC can have some rewarding experiences. I can tell you from personal experience. Just make sure that you look into anything facility you apply for.

Clearly. I don't know how to work this forum from my phone. Lol sorry about any confusion with my replies!

Hey everyone! My interview was at 9:40 this morning. I feel like it went well too. Fingers crossed. I hope we hear back soon!

Same here! I hate the waiting game! Seems to be the hardest part!:sly:

Can I ask...which unit and are you graduated? I applied for Women's Health, and graduate in a week! :)

I applied to this and it feels like I've been waiting forever! I am curious how soon people will start getting called for final interviews, I know the handout said December 5th, but I wonder if anyone has been contacted today.

For everyone who has applied, are you all BSN's? What kind of GPA's do you guys have, if you don't mind sharing. Are you all living in the Northwest currently? I am from out of state, and wondering if that makes my chances more slim.

I am graduated since June 2014 and am working in a group home for developmentally disabled adults currently. I applied and interviewed for ICU! I'm so nervous. I interviewed with Salem Health Hospital for the residency program too. We will see...

Hi! I have my BSN and got a 3.6 gpa at OHSU. I think that your chances are based on your experience, interview and credentials! :)

When is the deadline to hear back? I had to schedule a phone interview after the initial interviews were cancelled and didn't receive any dates

Did you notify them you couldn't make the reschedule, and that you needed a phone interview? I worry that it may be too late. It seems to me like they have already done all the phone interviews, and already had the initial face to face interviews. I don't know for sure though. I suggest you email them right away.
