Legacy RN Versant Nurse Residency Program, start date February 23, 2015. I just wanted to post this thread, so that those of us who applied for this cohort can communicate about the application process. Did you apply? If so, which unit and location? Have you heard anything yet? Any idea how many applicants applied this time? I hope everyone gets their unit of choice. This is a very tough program, but seems worth the effort. I want to wish everyone the best of luck!

I would probably prefer night shift if given the choice, but I will be happy with whatever I can get anyplace! Night shift would work better with my kids' schedules and I would see them a lot more if I worked night shift.

And yes, if I have to work somewhere other than a hospital at first, I will be happy to be employed and learning. We did chart in school, but the hospitals where I did clinicals didn't use Epic so I have no experience there. I just gave myself a couple of months to apply only to hospitals and this program and figured I'd re-evaluate after the new year and once we were all settled in from the move.

Do you know how many they're hiring at Good Sam? And how many they interviewed? I have no idea how many they interviewed for the 4 spots at Emanuel.

I prefer night shift too. I haven't heard anything except that my background check is complete. That notification came from Taskstream. I'm so full of nerves at this point! Did they call you?

Me too í ½í¸£ my only hope comes from the fact that I have a friend in the last cohort who was offered a position late afternoon on the deadline

Hey there fellow nurses,

I just found this cohort. I saw earlier in the thread that they will contact us by the 9th with offers...is that accurate? I have done my second interview and the references and background check and that was in the second week of December...any news for any of you?
