Legacy Health Residency, Portland, OR

Just wondering if anyone else had applied to Legacy Health (Emmanuel Children's Hospital)? This is in Portland, OR. It closed last Friday and I am wanting to know when people start hearing from them about interviews. Thanks for any info you have!!

Where are you taking it that offers it on the weekend? I'm assuming you're in the pacific northwest. The only place I know of is NWRTC and they only do it on Mondays & Tuesdays...

I just dropped my app off this week too. I wonder how many applications they have with the new GPA restrictions.

I'm actually in Arizona, and I'm taking it through Wizard Education. Does the fire department in your area offer any ACLS classes? I'm wondering the same thing about applications. Hopefully it's not a ridiculous number!

Northwest Regional Training Center is a division of the local fire department, actually. I guess I'll be taking this after graduation...

I'm with you guys....I hope the GPA restriction has cut down our competition significantly, but I have no idea. LilredRN are graduating in December? Have you taken the NCLEX yet? What area of nursing are you looking to get into?

Yes I graduate in December & will be taking my NCLEX hopefully late Dec/ early Jan. I am hoping for Critical Care.

I'm looking to work in the Emergency Dept. I had my senior practicum in the ED and absolutely LOVED it!

Anyone heard anything yet? I know they said 11/29-12/9 is when they will start making phone calls for first interviews. Thank goodness I've been busy, otherwise I'd be staring at my phone all day every day!
