Lawson State fall 2017

Hello everyone I would like to congratulate everyone who made it into this falls (2016) cohort. I will be applying to Lawsons fall 2017 cohort. I am creating this forum for those who are currently in the program that would like to encourage the next class and also let us know what to expect and for those applying to the 2017 cohort. Lets also post scores as we complete classes and take the ACT. So far I have taken bio 103, micro, eng, a&p 1, psych 1& 2, humanity, and will be taking a&p 2 and math 100 this miniterm and will be taking hps 103 and mth 186 in January. Oh and also remember no question is a dumb question unless you dont ask it!!!

Hi Knfmaf! They mail them to you. I think they will send them the first week in July, but I hope it will be sooner.

Its usually first part of July. I wouldn't expect anything before the 4th. They snail mail them. If you're accepted your student suite degree plan will change. Best of luck to you all

If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean the degree plan in student suite will change?

That way I can stalk my students sure instead of the mailman.

If you are accepted in the nursing program it will look different than the PDE nursing degree plan. You will see all the actual NUR classes

You have to log into student suite for Lawson state. Are you already attending Lawson? If not, you will have to wait on the letter as the account wont be accessible.

How soon should I wait before checking student suite? It says Pre-Nursing as of right now but I have a Nursing Instructor as an advisor

If it says Pre-Nursing they haven't made a decision yet, If you're accepted it will change to AAS nursing. You can check it everyday if you wish. I checked mine like 3 times a day until i saw a change lol. In all honesty they probably wont make a decision until after July 4.

Talked to the ladies at Lawson just now and letters went out yesterday or this morning, she said they were in the mailroom yesterday. My student suite says under advising information NSG Pre-Nursing, so I'm assuming I didn't get in.
