Hello everyone I would like to congratulate everyone who made it into this falls (2016) cohort. I will be applying to Lawsons fall 2017 cohort. I am creating this forum for those who are currently in the program that would like to encourage the next class and also let us know what to expect and for those applying to the 2017 cohort. Lets also post scores as we complete classes and take the ACT. So far I have taken bio 103, micro, eng, a&p 1, psych 1& 2, humanity, and will be taking a&p 2 and math 100 this miniterm and will be taking hps 103 and mth 186 in January. Oh and also remember no question is a dumb question unless you dont ask it!!!

Lol you have you have to wear black, white, or nude. The patches cone with the shirt but you have to Velcro them on. Its a spot on the sleeves

what about the lab coat.. is that something we have to have?

No. I got one and never wore it. If you get cold you can wear a white under shirt with long sleeves

Hello,

I was wondering what are we obligated to buy on uniform website?

Can I purchase elsewhere?

Shoes, Bottoms, Blood Pressure Kit, Patches,etc.

You can purchase everything but uniform tops anywhere else but the website because you need the patches

Congrats ladies! How many points did you all have when applying to Lawson?

Hi congrats ladies, I was just wondering if any of you who were accepted would reveal your point totals when applying? I applied yesterday with a point total of 30, 24 on act, Bachelors degree from Samford, and over 3.5 GPA. I just want to know what my chances are with that point total if any of you don't mind?

I had 27 points 18 on the ACT and 3.8 gpa got accepted to the fall 2017 day program I gave my spot away though I got in a bevill for this summer im nearing the end of second semester now

It sounds like you have a pretty good chance. Your stats sound like mine, some people have gotten in with a 19 on the ACT. It's never a sure thing but I think you've got a really good chance. Good luck!

What is the schedule like for the day program? Hours? Days of the week? How many classes for each semester? I recently got accepted but they aren't saying anything about the schedule.
