Lawson State fall 2017

Hello everyone I would like to congratulate everyone who made it into this falls (2016) cohort. I will be applying to Lawsons fall 2017 cohort. I am creating this forum for those who are currently in the program that would like to encourage the next class and also let us know what to expect and for those applying to the 2017 cohort. Lets also post scores as we complete classes and take the ACT. So far I have taken bio 103, micro, eng, a&p 1, psych 1& 2, humanity, and will be taking a&p 2 and math 100 this miniterm and will be taking hps 103 and mth 186 in January. Oh and also remember no question is a dumb question unless you dont ask it!!!

Also there is a Los on the bookstore website

Thank you for clarifying, I'm in no hurry to spend more money on books lol. I do plan on getting them around the first week of class.l if I do. I was debating whether to even purchase new books since I have mine from 3 yrs ago... but I'll see what's best soon enough.

I just didn't want to have to order after the first day and them not get here in time. I'm buying somewhere besides the bookstore because it's so much cheaper:)

Did y'all get the isbn numbers to work on amazon? I couldn't. Do y'all know what the fundamentals book will be? When I looked on the bookstore website there wasn't one available.

The ISBN number will not work anywhere online because it is a custom made package just for Lawson. Don't stress yourselves over the books yet. The first day of class someone will have the new book that you can get the ISBN number from. The ISBN number for Lawson bookstore includes the CDs. You may not need the CDs. Our first semester came with CDs and I never even used them. I just YouTube it or Google. I will stop being a momma bear lol. Just a vet's two cents. Relax as of now. Once class starts stress goes up. Dont add on to it early in the game. You all got this. Breathe. I know you ladies will be fine

Just thinking It's not smart to wait until after classes start to get books. We should already be starting to read our assignments by then, not still trying to order and wait for books.

You have a very good point. I just didn't want anxiety and stress to take over before classes started. Wish you all the best of luck. Email the instructors. They would know what books are being used

When I spoke to the guy at the bookstore this is the title that he gave me:

However, when I went to the bookstore on the Bham campus, they did not have the books in for the new semester yet. The young lady behind the cash register said that he had just ordered them. This was on Wednesday. I hope this helps.

Also, the pharmacology books match up to the onesnon amazon! I already bought those!í ¾í´—

She didn't confirm whether or not that was the one they ordered, which makes me wonder if they changed it at the last minute, since they turned in the order so late. Give them a call and see if they give you the same title or not.
