Hi Guys!!
I’m getting ready to start the nursing application for LAVC. They ask us to “mail” our transcripts I’m but I’m wondering if e-transcripts are just as good? It’s still being send out from one campus go LAVC Admissions’ office... just not physically, ya know? Haha
Let me know if y’all had an experience with this!
I sent an email to the dept yesterday asking when we would hear from them, this is what I got.
“Thank you for your inquiry to the Nursing Department. We are almost done with the process for Fall 2020 and I believe that by the end of this week we will have updates for students via there student emails”

OMGG thank you so much for sharing this. I had lost all hope and was almost certain the process was complete.
Yes! Fingers crossed and best of luck for those still waiting. And CONGRATS to those who are in.

I haven’t gotten an email.
The last email I got was back in April saying I had to resubmit my application because I didn’t add a maiden name. And I never got one after my second time submitting the app.

Hello if you don’t mind me asking, in what classes did you have W’s in? I’m applying next semester and I’m worried my 4 W’s in gen ED classes are gonna affect my chances.
Today I emailed every faculty to try to get an update.
I’m so confused, during the application period they said don’t turn in the TEAS score until we send you a email saying you passed the chancellor study.
I haven’t received any update. I took my TEAS in May but didn’t submit my score because I was waiting for that email. So confused. I wish there was more communication

So they should still have room then since they accept 40 per cohort. With about 15 with TEAS already done and another 11 who need to do the TEAS if they all pass then that's about 26. So maybe the cut score is higher than they make it seem and then they'll go down the list to fill the last 14 or so spots. There's another zoom meeting on Monday coming up and a mandatory orientation zoom meeting next week Monday and Tuesday.
