Hi Guys!!
I’m getting ready to start the nursing application for LAVC. They ask us to “mail” our transcripts I’m but I’m wondering if e-transcripts are just as good? It’s still being send out from one campus go LAVC Admissions’ office... just not physically, ya know? Haha
Let me know if y’all had an experience with this!

Does anyone want to start an email, text, or FB thread so we can help each other out in this process? I'm already a bit overwhelmed at the packet we need to complete.
Good luck everyone.
I started a group on FB for all those accepted into the program. It's called "LAVC Nursing Fall 2020"
How odd
I received a phone call on Monday to take the TEAS test today at 10AM. I finished it around 11:30AM and I think the exam is about 3-4 hours if you use up the entire allotted time. I received a phone call at 2:30pm saying I was accepted.
If acceptances were already being sent out prior to this was not everyone entered into the lottery or they just had to confirm with the TEAS test and only administered it to the people that won the lottery. There were only about 11 of us invited to take the TEAS test from what I saw on the proctor's checklist. Maybe that's why the proctor was told to minimize discussions and only have the zoom meeting to give out information on how to take the test.
Either way can't wait to meet everyone ?

From what they told us at the informational meeting there's like 2 lotteries. They do one based on cut score then they send invites for the TEAS.
I got in too! I applied to 4 schools and am so glad to not go through that again! Can't wait to meet everyone!
