Today was my last day of school! For my last semester, I had to perform 192 hours of preceptorship at a local hospital on a med/surg floor (I took a position here which starts Jan 21st!), do a test of change project (TCAB) in which we research an area on the clinical unit that needs changed focusing on saving time, money, or improves safety etc. and then we had to present this project to our class and to the unit on which we precepted. I also had to attend two classes a week, one class was the Kaplan course which prepares us for taking and passing the NCLE, this was included in our program and the other class had a midterm and final and two pop quizzes. It is all over. I will graduate on Friday at 7pm. :grad:
To all who are just starting, in the middle or almost done, take it one day at a time and know that with God, all things are possible and if He brought you to it, He'll bring you through it!

Thanks for your encouragement.... And good luck. Even though I passed my first semester with a B, I sometimes get brought to tears just by the thought of going through another semester. Nursing school is great, yet challenging when working full time. I pray GOD will bring me through. Failing is always in the back of my head, I just don't know how to get over this fear. I've cried buckets worried about scores I've gotten on an exam... And I haven't scored less than an 80 Yet ! But, now I'm rambling... so back to the point. Congrats and best of luck :)
