Langara September 2020 Intake

Hi Langara hopefuls!

I know it's early, but I wanted to start a thread for September 2020 intake because I'm currently ramping up to apply and getting excited!

I'm taking A+P at the moment, and will be taking 3 other prereqs in the fall at TRU. I have a couple of college certs, some uni credits, but no degree yet.

Anyone else out there prepping and getting ansy?

Hey, what GPA were you waitlisted with? Sometimes a certain GPA will get you in some terms, whereas others not due to the competitiveness.

I applied with a 3.53 but I'm hearing that this upcoming intake is a bit more competitive than usual. buut I just wanna make sure I'm prepared for any outcome

I would try to improve the GPA to at least a 3.6, if you don't get accepted.

I'm actually shocked that 3. 6 is being waitlisted this intake... Normally that's accepted off the bat! So competitive...

I'm planning to apply for next year's intake and I was just wondering if any of you guys retook a course? I'm currently having a dilemma whether or not to retake one of my courses since I think my GPA is not enough to get in the program. ?

Hey!! Yes I retook bio 1190 and also stats. With it being so competitive, definitely repeat a class if you need that extra bump!
