Hey guy! Just starting up this trend for Langara's January 2021 intake! I applied couple weeks ago, just exciting to see what awaits us. Who else has already applied?

Hi everyone, I'm a future applicant and wondering if anyone knows if there are some courses you can take that will transfer towards the nursing degree  while you wait for an admission decision? Thank you in advance!

yes like she said PHIL 1105 is the Langara one and is the only course that can be taken ahead :) quite easy just take it ahead of time to reduce course load in semester 6 I believe

Specializes in Student.

I got a call from Langara Nursing today (GPA 3.55 non-degree holder at the time) and was offered a spot. I was told they had a few spots left. So those, who are still hoping for an offer there is still hope. I declined my offer for a different healthcare professional program so I hope one of you guys got my spot! Best of luck in nursing :)

I might've gotten your spot, I just accepted an offer today with around the same GPA! Good luck guys!

I got a call from Langara today and I accepted their offer (3.53 GPA, no previous degree). Good luck guys! ??

Congratulations!   Langara and BCIT are the best Nursing programs in the province (shh....don't tell anyone)

Degree holders were given offers back in June/July.    Folks getting offers now will not have a degree.

Hi everyone ?

I'd like to apply to Langara (don't know exactly which semester yet) but I need some help understanding the admission requirements. I am currently attending SFU. I used the BC Transfer Guide and noticed that for a lot of the required courses, there aren't any equivalent courses at SFU (e.g. There is no course I can take at SFU to fulfill the BIOL 1191 requirement).

How can I apply to Langara if this is the case? I'm quite lost right now and would appreciate any help! ?

Hello!

Saw this a bit late but hope it still helps:

You would send an application through BC Education planner to Langara to begin as a student. I suggest that you go to the Langara website and call or email one of the advisors! They will help you with understanding the process ?

Super random question! But I was wondering if we get any breaks during Christmas time and in February?
