  1. Congratulations! Langara and BCIT are the best Nursing programs in the province (shh....don't tell anyone) Degree holders were given offers back in June/July. Folks getting offers now will not have a degree.
  2. So L, please tell me you followed up with the advisors at Langara?
  3. Degree holders got offers long ago
  4. Hey guys, you need written permission from a school to publish emails online. Please remove these if you don't have written permission.
  5. There used to be a mandatory UPASS fee; not sure if that is still a thing. Parking is pay as you go---1/2 day rates. No parking passes are available. You can park on Main Street and walk 3 or 4 blocks. There's also parking on Ontario Street farther down the hill by the golf course. No college would have a mandatory parking fee---because not everyone has a car!
  6. Probably a good question for the school. I know when I applied the colleges I went to all had letter grades, so that is what they gave me on the Langara application. An "A" at Douglas should be an "A" at Langara unless I'm mistaken.
  7. They don't release that info
  8. Interesting. So looks like someone got in for September 2020 from the waitlist with a 3.59 (in May). So the Spring intake is a bit less competitive, but pretty close.
  9. Looks like bubbletea got in with 3.6. But there could be 20 students with 3.55 to 3.59 GPAs on the waitlist. I don't see how anyone who was wait-listed for a previous term could be of any help here. Different term, different students, different marks. Good luck though.
  10. You are right, Hewooo. I also checked with advising and they have so many applications and because of COVID it might take a few days for all the offers to go out. Deep breaths, everyone--but let us know when someone actually gets an acceptance email---not "my brother's friend's cousin's sister got an offer".
  11. That's not true, because I have a Bsc. degree but I got rejected for September 2020 because I had a really low GPA (3.0) for the 5 pre-reqs. You still kind of need to have a competitive enough GPA haha That's not true. Haha. Everyone needs a 2.33 to have a complete application. Degree holders go to the front of the line. If you got rejected for Fall 2020 it was not because you had a 3.0 with a degree. This was information I received at the information session.
