Hey guy! Just starting up this trend for Langara's January 2021 intake! I applied couple weeks ago, just exciting to see what awaits us. Who else has already applied?

Hi everyone! Just curious, has anyone been taken off the waitlist at this time?

I'm curious as to when that might start happening...

Hi all,

I'm a prospective student looking to apply to Langara's BSN program for one of the upcoming intakes. Could anyone tell me what letter grade to percentage chart Langara uses for the pre-req GPA calculations? For instance, what percentage ranges qualify as an A+, A, A-, B+, etc.? Any insight on this would be appreciated!

Due to the visa situation and Langara not accepting international students I am now considering University Of Alberta. I will begin my pre reqs with Athabasca or Macewan in October ?

Also wondering if they would contact waitlisted applicants as the spots open up or would they wait until more spots open up then contact multiple people?

I'm wondering the same! Back when offers first went out and I got waitlisted, I sent an email to admissions about waitlisted applicants and this is what I received back:

"Thanks for your email. We'll be taking students off the waitlist up to the second week of term. It all depends on whether students accept their offers, register in November or drop out before the start of term.  So right now I would say there is still a good chance of several students on the waiting list getting in.

We will phone you directly if a spot becomes available.

Good luck!"

So I guess it could be awhile until we find out... But there's still hope for all of us waiting ?

Congrats! You'll do great! What was your GPA btw?

wow that’s so exciting congrats!! 

I also had a 3.53 GPA. I really hope I get a phone call as well. did they happen to mention anything about other spots LOL
