  1. Just a heads up for the term 1's starting in the fall - you can see the course times and profs on the website now. The 1260 prof that is currently listed there is amazing.
  2. Congratulations !! So excited for u guys to join the nursing gangg ? It's gonna get really crazy when you guys begin in the fall, so enjoy the break as much as you can!! (You'll miss the spare time trust me?)
  3. ^^^ Yes! I second I am also always here if anyone has any questions!! Feel free to reply or send a private message so I can give socials! I am wishing everyone the absolute best of luck! ❤️
  4. We can't choose ?
  5. @ptorrev @st2424 3.67 is a good GPA guys! Don't give up yet, a waitlist isn't a rejection!! ?
  6. Hi!! :)) No! I don't think that would be the case. Langara only focuses on the five courses that are the prereqs for this program, or any equivalent courses in other post secondary places. But for courses that aren't considered equivalent to the prereqs for Langara, I have never heard about the school considering those classes (and I've done some deep searching ahha). If that did happen I think it would be pretty unfair for the students coming straight out of highschool. In my situation, I got in straight after high school whereas some friends I know who have taken other courses did not get in. They do consider how many times you have retaken a class though. I was told aa while back that if 2 students has the exact GPA and were fighting for 1 seat in the program the student who retook the least amount of classes would take the seat.
  7. Hey! Yeah, that's what happened with the Jan intake. If you go back to that forum a few people got rejection letters first, then the waitlisted people, and then the accepted last! This is the time where you don't want an email for a while aha For the waitlisted part of the question, I couldn't tell you for sure because I never got waitlisted. From what I heard though it would tell you if you're waitlisted directly. It shouldn't stay on "application complete".
  8. Good luck everyone! Feel free to message me if you have questions!
  9. I'm glad to help even if it's just a little! Only ppl who went through this process understand how bad it is LOL. Just my opinion - I don't see the GPA dramatically going higher where a 3.7 won't get in; at least not this intake! I think the lowest that got accepted for my intake was a low 3.6 to higher 3.5. Even if the GPA increases dramatically you'd prob be one of the firsts to get accepted off the waitlist :))
  10. Hey! I got accepted this January and also applied with a 3.7. I can see you getting in! It hasn't been long since I was in the same position so I understand! Good luck ?
  11. Hello! Saw this a bit late but hope it still helps: You would send an application through BC Education planner to Langara to begin as a student. I suggest that you go to the Langara website and call or email one of the advisors! They will help you with understanding the process ?
  12. Wishing you the best! You definitely got this :))))
  13. That makes sense! I'm glad that's over for you:) Thank you!!
  14. Hi there!! Thank you for taking the time to respond to us ? Very much appreciated!! I just wanted to ask, which term has been the hardest for you so far, and why? (I've heard that after term 1 and the pre-reqs, it gets a bit easier in the sense that people get used to how the program is, but I'm not sure if that is all true) thank you!! ?
