LA Pierce College Spring 2021

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce, unfortunatlly due to the coronavirus the TEAS test was cancelled. I just wanted for people going through the same thing and for new applicants to have a place for to discuss their application process. How's everyone’s doing?

It said on the handbook page that we would need a document signed by the doctor during the physical and the dentist. So I’m assuming we need to wait to get those papers before we go to those appointments?

Yup it’ll be in a bunch of papers you get

Hi thank you so much for the info! About how long did it take to get all the orientation information once you accepted your position to the program?

I emailed them asking when we can expect to receive info on orientation and they replied by the end of the month?

I kind of need to know asap smh

has anyone tried making a castle branch account yet? I believe we need a package code? I cannot figure it out. & I know we need a physical exam and testing done by a provider but what exactly do they fill out & sign ? I was expecting to receive some sort of form? help LOL

Same here. Can someone clarify if we need to have the background and health checks done prior to orientation or prior to the first day of class?

Yeah I expected to receive a form for the physician and dentist to sign. I believe we don’t need everything done until the first day of class. Not by orientation. So we have a bit more time. I also think pierce health center offers a free physical exam to students and they offer vaccines there based on what I see on the website. Not sure if that’s still the case with covid. I might email and ask some questions to clarify
