This is going to be so horrible, COVID has ruined everything.

It is hard to be positive during times like these especially because a lot of peoples lives have drastically changed with being let go from work or school plans that are rapidly changing. I know this is not ideal for our nursing school applications but we have to trust the process and focus on our health and safety because sadly, a lot of people are sick and are not as fortunate. I have no doubt we will all get into nursing school, soon, because we will have a huge demand for healthcare workers after this. Those who decide to continue to pursue nursing after a time like this can overcome anything! Stay strong everyone.

Anyone hear back at all yet from Pierce? I emailed them about a month ago & received an email back asking for my # to discuss situation & never received a call. ? my TEAS scores were sent During app period.

No I have not heard anything from Pierce. I have been debating sending an e-mail but I am sure they are getting bombarded with numerous e-mails from applicants so I have been waiting for an update from their nursing department. Interesting how many schools are keeping us in the dark, I am curious if they will accept applicants or not and if/when they will notify who is accepted for the Fall 2020 cohort.

I'm thinking they may not even do the program for this year, because I was looking on their facebook, and it said that the Fall semester will be online only. I could be wrong though!!

I got a message from GCC and they are allowing students to take the TEAS through proctorio around the end of this month. They also give a choice of whether you want to take the test through proctorio or defer. If you defer they are holding the application till Winter/Spring 2021. I have not heard anything from Pierce though.

I did, but tbf yesterday was the last day you could apply there so its a waiting game now.

My bad, I meant LACC (Los Angeles City College). Did you apply there too?
