LA Pierce College Fall 2020

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce. I just wanted to have a place to discuss it and also to see how everyone’s application process is going.

I received the same email. I’ve already taken the TEAS and I’m not sure if I should still send my scores on that date.

were you planning on retaking the TEAS on the 28th? I'm just asking because I already took and sent my scores to pierce but I haven't received any emails from them so I'm wondering if I should contact them or not.

No, I was just going to send them on the day that they were doing the testing so that they can just process my scores as if I took it there with everyone else, if that makes sense LOL. Maybe I should have sent it earlier, just so the app would be over with, but I’m not sure if they would even look at it without having the other scores submitted. I would contact them, though, just to make sure they actually received your scores!

Hey,

I thing you should have sent them already. The LAPC Nursing Application says: "If you have already taken the test, you must submit your TEAS results to us during the application period."

I think I’ll still be fine, though, because the TEAS invite email gives an option to send them in if it was already taken. We’ll see, if not I’m screwed for this college! ?

I think you have until the 26th to submit scores. I called before all of this and asked. I am sure that date will also be extended because of the cancellation. Them canceling means that 40 people who were invited to take it now can’t. There is no way they aren’t going to allow the invited students test and submit their scores for this round. I’m hoping they update is with more information soon.

I feel the same way. The email they sent was very vague and did not reassure me of anything. Let's all hope that this is all over soon so that we can get back to our regular ways of life. ?

Was he accepted in Pierce College? When did he apply? What race is your husband and friend?what school did your friend get into?

So it's possible this lockdown stays put till may and even longer.

Starting to think theres not gonna be enough time for nursing schools to accept anyone.
