Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce. I just wanted to have a place to discuss it and also to see how everyone’s application process is going.

@lauragomez101 unfortunatly all of the spots are filled for the upcoming test date. I would talk to the LAPC councelors or nursing department to see if they have any new testing dates.

Has anyone heard if the testing date will be pushed back because of the campus closure? Last I saw Pierce was closed until the 29th for all classes and on campus activities.

I sent a message asking if it’s been postponed or moved off campus since the campus is closed. I sent the message to ------------------ who created the sign up genius page for pierce nursing TEAS sign ups. I’ll give an update once I hear back.

@KayNik4089 Same. I emailed --------------------- and the Nursing Department, I also called the office and left a voicemail to see if they were going to send any updates. No responses so far. Hopefully we hear back soon.

I don’t understand why people are posting stats ....Pierce is pure lottery. My husband got in with a 3.0 and TEAS of 74 but my best friend got denied from 7 schools before she got in and she had a 4.0 BA and a 97 on TEAS

I also have been calling, leaving messages, and emailing the school and nursing department for an answer about the TEAS exam next week. I don't like that they are leaving us in the dark during this time...

I contacted the dean office and they said they’ll contact the nursing department and call me back with more information about the TEAS test that’s scheduled for March 28th

Thank you! I’ve also reached out via email and left voicemails but have not heard back yet. Hopefully they get back to us soon! I can’t imagine them keeping the test date as is.
