LA Pierce College Fall 2020

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce. I just wanted to have a place to discuss it and also to see how everyone’s application process is going.

I was just wondering how long you guys have been trying to get into nursing school, specifically LAPC.

This was my first time applying to Pierce. This has been my third time applying to nursing programs. I also tried for LAVC and LACC.

@JVBO did you receive an acceptance or denial email yet? did you take the TEAS?

I have not received anything yet. I am a first time applicant but I have not taken the TEAS. I was talking to ------------------------- and she said that they were working so that students could take the TEAS online. That was around the last week of May. I have not heard anything since then.

I feel like they are accepting applicants who already took the TEAS but I could be wrong

This is also what I am thinking happened. I wish I would’ve taken the TEAS ahead of time. But then again there was no way of anyone knowing about corona ahead of time ?

same here ? I should have taken it ahead of time yet that's bull if they don't accept anyone who hasn't take the TEAS, the covid-19 was out of our control

I took the TEAS in January & submitted my scores during the application period and I have not heard back from them at all
