LA Pierce College Fall 2020

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce. I just wanted to have a place to discuss it and also to see how everyone’s application process is going.

The bright side to anyone who has not taken the TEAS is more time studying! We all better get really high TEAS scores.

Does anyone know if all the letters went out today? I only saw 1 acceptance.

I got my acceptance today via my personal email. I was fortunate enough to get an invite to take the TEAS by GCC. I took it on May 29th but was hesitant about sending the scores since I wasn't sure if Pierce was still reviewing my file. So much time had gone by since the application deadline, I was almost certain I was too late. I emailed them last week asking if my application was still valid for me to send the score because I didn't want to waste money sending it for no reason. I never got a response but sent it anyway. I sent it this past Monday (6/8/20). I made it in the nick of time.

Is this also your first time applying to pierce?

I took my TEAS in January but I haven’t heard anything yet from Pierce so I guess that’s a no ? although like someone said I know in the past they’ve scattered them out, my friend is a twin and they got theirs three days apart when they got in the same cohort. So maybe there’s hope still. CONGRATS to everyone who did get in that’s awesome.

Have any of you previously applied to Pierce? I am just curious if they will also send rejection letters to the people who do not make it.
