L.A County College of Nursing Fall 2015 Applicants

Published

Hello Everyone.

I decided to create this post because I haven't seen any updated threads that relate to the Fall 2015 applicant pool. I'd love to hear from some of you out there who may have also applied so we can begin communicating with each other any updates, info, thoughts, and feelings as this is such a long and anxious process.

A bit of info about myself, I am currently attending elac, I am done with all my prereqs, this is the second time I am applying. I didn't make the cut last term (spring 2015) because I didn't have the points for speech and political science so I did them over winter, although I still don't think they will count because the grades weren't posted before the deadline!:grumpy: The only thing that i did extra with my time that I had proof for was Volunteering at the County Hospital in the ER, so I'm hoping that counts for something..

I have also applied to LACC, LASC, PCC, Rio Hondo, Citrus, Cerritos, but county is definitely my number 1 choice!

I look forward to hearing from you all soon

Oh man no TEAS result yet :(

Mine took 9 days for the results to appear on the website 😑

Hello, Im new here I took my teas on the 6th of march at la county. Still no results, I'm so stressed out I don't know what to do. They told me Friday and then Saturday and still nothing and everything is closed. :(

Hi! I'm in the same boat! I'm hoping we'll atleast know on Monday :( I have dreams about getting the results! The anxiety is awful.

Omg the same here, the wait is really awful. But yes I really hope they have the results by Monday, and just to think this is only the beginning, once we got our results then we will be waiting for our acceptance letters!!! Fingers crossed :)

Good to know I'm not crazy and alone in this :) how did you guys feel about the test? To be completely honest, the first two sections and the Chem questions in the 3rd part were NOT easy for me! The only thing I can really count on is the last English section! I'm horrific at math and just bombed that portion :( hoping I make the cutoff though!

Hi guys! I took my TEAS at Cal State LA a while back, we got our results really fast so I was happy for that:) Also got myself the extra 5 points! Good luck to you all, hope you all get above 75%!

BTW does anyone know what the usual schedule is? M-Th? Anyone know the times and days we have clinicals?

The scores are up! Thank god I passed lol!!!!! I barely hit above 75% so I'm thankful for those 5 points!

and from the schedules posted online from previous terms, all I could figure was there would be either class or clinical 4 days a week! I think some days they get out like at 2:30 and others like 4:30.
